If you
would like to participate in legitimate market research projects, search for companies that do market research recruiting,
or have facilities for conducting interviews, focus groups, or other types of research. They often have a place on their
websites where you can enter some basic information about yourself (such as your occupation, location, age range, etc.) if
you would like to be considered for future research projects. When these companies' clients ask them to recruit people
with certain types of experience or interests or other characteristics, these companies will contact you and ask more questions
to see if you have the characteristics their clients need for a specific market research project.
IMPORTANT: If
a company asks you to pay them or provide a credit card number or similar information to be included in their database or
to participate in a market research project, DON'T DO IT! Legitimate market research companies will never ask you to pay or
to share that type of information.
